Nominate A Family In Need For A 'Mokena Miracle'
The Mokena Miracles organization is looking for individuals or families in Mokena who could use a little extra help this holiday season.
MOKENA, IL - The Mokena Miracles organization is looking to bring holiday joy into the lives of local residents in need once again this year. The organization announced a call out for nominations on who should receive a "Mokena Miracle" this year.
Last year, a single mom received more than $3,000 in donations as part of the organization's first effort. Now, the group has begun planning for the 2018 holiday season.

The group has a goal to help more than just one family this year. Anyone who wants to nominate a family or person in need should send a detailed letter to Mokena Miracles, PO Box 824, Mokena, IL 60448 or by email to mokenamiracles@gmail.com.
The deadline to submit a letter of nomination is Oct. 15.
