Noonan Academy Crusaders Clenches Championship

The Noonan Academy 8th Grade Boys' Basketball Crusaders are the Tri-County Catholic White Division Champions. The team consisting of the following graduates of the class of 2024, Nicholas Cohen, Billy Cortese, Lanre Deen, Liam Fowler, Kai Harvey, Maxim Jelinek, Tate, Mark Simon, and Nicholas Tulowiecki, were coached this year by Mr. Christopher Fowler, Mr. Matthew Littlefield, and Mr. Tony Harvey

On Saturday, March 2nd the Crusaders defeated St. Cyril/Methodius, 45-43, in their second-round playoff game. Coming back from a 10-point deficit at the half. They then advanced to the Championship game which was played at Providence Catholic High School the following day.

On Sunday, March 3rd the Crusaders defeated St. Joseph (Downers Grove), 34-31 in the Tri-County Catholic Championship Game for the White Division, coming back from a 17point deficit at the half. The Noonan Academy Family packed the gym to support their Crusaders and to watch a strong game played by all the boys, especially Liam Fowler and Kai Harvey who are part of All Conference Team. They were chosen by the coaches of the opposing teams that our Crusaders played against throughout this season.
