Madeline Teague is a 5th grader at Noonan Elementary Academy in Mokena and has been selected by her teacher, Mrs. Mueller, as this week's Standout Student. Congratulations Madeline and to the Teague family.

What is your dream job?

Veterinarian

What are some of your most played songs on your iPod?

Bang, Run to me, Wake me up

What is one thing people don't know about you?

I have a lot of sisters (the only boy in my family is my dad)

Whom do you look up to and why?

I look up to my mom because she is nice and funny

What do you keep under your bed?

Nothing

Who is your favorite teacher and why?

Mrs. Mueller and Mrs. Kimak because they are nice, creative, and fun.

What is your favorite class and why?

I like Religion because it is interesting to learn about God

What's one thing that stands out about your school?

We don’t eat sugar at Noonan and we are deep in our faith.

What extracurricular(s) do you wish your school had?

Yoga, cross country, agricultural science

What's your morning routine?

Wake up, eat breakfast, brush teeth, brush hair, clean earrings, get dressed, and go to school

If you could change one thing about school what would it be?

That we could eat sugar and that it was closer to my house.

What's your favorite thing to eat in the cafeteria?

My favorite thing to pack for lunch is macaroni and cheese.

What's your best memory from school?

When I was in kindergarten, one day I didn’t feel good and I was in the front office on the bed, and then Mrs. Noonan came in and gave me a hug, put covers on me, turned out the lights, and said “I hope you feel better soon” and then I fell fast asleep.
