Noonan Elementary Academy is an independent Catholic school in Mokena serving preschool through 8th grade. Noonan sent seven science fair students to the Illinois Junior Academy of Science State Exposition at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria on April 23, 2022.
The following students took home Silver at the Science State Exposition: Michael Yep (8th grade) and Aidan Villasenor (8th) grade
The following students took home Gold at the Science State Exposition: Annie Villasenor (8th grade), Claire Horner (8th grade), Riyaa Jain (8th grade), Maya Krutul (7th grade), and Melanie Hague (7th grade).
