Owen Claude Bosard Obituary & Service Information

Owen Claude Bosard,79, of Mokena, passed away April 15, 2017, at his residence in Mokena. Owen was born March 13, 1938 in Traverse City, MI, the son of Clayton and Amanda Bosard. Owen worked at Welsch Redi-Mix for 30 years and for Blackhawk Properties for 17 years. He was a member of Christian Hills Full Gospel Church for 41 years in Orland Hills, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Mary Brooks and Leah Dean and one brother, George Bosard. He is survived by his wife, Claudette of 55 years, of Mokena. He also is survived by three daughters, Annette (William) Colbert, of Bourbonnais, Victoria (David) Huish, Manteno and Ruth Chinski, Aurora. Grandchildren Nicole (Ryan) Bridges, David Thomas Huish, Douglas Owen Colbert, Amy (Blake) Blanchette, Rebekah (Alex) Veld and Abigail Colbert. Great-grandson Ethan Scott Bridges. Owen enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His favorite hobby was fishing and playing cards with his family & friends. As he enters the gates of Heaven, he will be missed by all family members and friends.

Visitation is Friday, April 21, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Christian Hills Church, 9001 W. 159th Street, Orland Hills, IL. Visitation Saturday, April 22, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. with a Church Service immediately following.
