Park District Foundation Golf Outing Supports Scholarships and More

The Mokena Park District Foundation's Annual Golf Outing raises funds for financial assistance, scholarships are more.

The Mokena Community Park District Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable foundation. Its mission is to raise funds to provide:

  • Scholarships for Park District or community affiliate organizations for underprivileged children of the community.
  • Scholarships for local residents that are attending an accredited college or university to obtain a degree in the Parks and Recreation field.
  • Capital projects and landscape and beautification projects.

The Golf Outing is Wednesday, July 26 at the Sanctuary Golf Course in New Lenox. Check-in and free driving range begins at 11am, and Scramble Shotgun Start at 1pm. Dinner, prizes and raffles will begin at 5:30pm. Fees for the Golf Outing are $130 per person or $520 per foursome which includes golf, carts, lunch, beverages on course, and dinner with open bar. Dinner only is $50 per person. No refunds. Registration deadline is Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Sponsorship and donation opportunities are also available.
