Pizza Playoffs: Who Will Rule the Southland?

In honor of the Big Game (which enforces the copyright on its name pretty stringently), we're holding a Pizza Playoffs to crown the best pizza in the Southland.

We're talking the whole Southland, from Chicago Heights to New Lenox, Frankfort to Oak Lawn.

The first round of voting will start Feb. 2 and run through Feb. 5. After that, there will be brackets and rounds and... box scores or something. I'm not a sports guy.

Your task is to tell us which places should represent Mokena in this non-NFL-endorsed tournament of champions.

• We're going local local local on this. is out. So are , and even , which recently won to represent Mokena in the weekly between Mokena, New Lenox and Frankfort.
• We've teamed up with Frankfort Patch to represent our own little slice of L-Way, so your pick can come from there too.
• Only votes on the Facebook page will count. Reviews in the Patch Places directory are always appreciated, but go to the Facebook page to make official suggestions.

Feel free to think outside the (pizza) box. Not only do mainstays like and specialize in the pie, spots like and also serve up some darn tasty pizza.
