Practice Tai Chi At Mokena Park District

The movements of Tai Chi/Qigong will improve health, balance and coordination.

MOKENA, IL — Practice some Tai Chi/Qigong at the Mokena Park District this spring. The park district will offer a free demo class from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17 The Oaks Recreation & Fitness Center, 10847 La Porte Road.

The park district said the movements of Tai Chi/Qigong will improve health, balance and coordination. You can learn how to quiet your mind and relax to improve your quality of life.

The class is for those ages 18 and over. Spots are limited, so preregistration is recommended.

Paid classes will then be offered April 24 through June 12 if patrons are interested.
