Retired Superintendent, Financial Analyst Selected to Join LW 210 Board
New board members will be seated on or after the Feb. 25 meeting.

After a search process that included 23 applicants, the Lincoln-Way District Board of Education has chosen the two who will fill board vacancies left by the resignation of Board President Kevin Molloy and board member Christopher McFadden. The board announced its selections late Friday night.
Dr. Kathleen Casey is a retired educator from District 218 who has lived in the Lincoln-Way area for the past 38 years. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce as well as the Palos Heights Recreation Department’s Strategic Planning Committee. Dr. Casey was elected as the Chairman of SCOPE, a legislative organization that serves 68 local school districts, as well as the Treasurer of South Cook Illinois Association of School Administrators (IASA).
Christopher Lucchetti is a graduate of Lincoln-Way Community High School and a resident of the district for over 30 years. He is married with two children who attend Lincoln-Way and another child in grade school. With an undergraduate degree in finance from Northern Illinois and an MBA from DePaul University, Lucchetti has spent the majority of his career as a financial analyst and fiduciary portfolio manager for BMO Harris Bank. He currently serves as director of trust investments at a private trust company.

“We had an outstanding pool of candidates that affirmed the community support of our school district, and after three days of interviews, we narrowed it down to these two exceptional individuals,” said Board President pro tem Christine Glatz.
It is anticipated that both board members will be formally seated on or after the next board meeting, scheduled for February 25.
