Four men entered a home in rural Monee Township Monday morning and stole phones and cash from an elderly couple, police said.

MONEE, IL - Four men forcibly entered a home in Monee Township early Monday morning and stole cash, phones and a car from an elderly couple who live there. Will County sheriff's police say four suspects are in custody in connection with the incident after the victims' car was found in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood.

Police say an elderly woman who lives in the home in the 25000 block of South 80th Avenue was awaken at 6 a.m. when she heard someone trying to open the front door. While she was in the hallway, she was met with a black man with a hood over his head who demanded she "give us your money and phones."

The woman told police she noticed three other men in the home at the time as she agreed to hand over some cash, a wallet, one wireless phone and her cell phone. The woman's husband remained asleep during the home invasion, according to police.
