Two Lincoln-Way East Students To Perform At Theatre Festival
Senior Aden Richard and sophomore Joseph Kotze are amongst the cast, crew and pit orchestra, comprised of the top performers from the state.

FRANKFORT, IL — Two Lincoln-Way East students will be performing in the 2020 Illinois High School Theatre Festival’s production of Elton John and Tim Rice's "Aida."
The district said senior Aden Richard and sophomore Joseph Kotze are amongst the All-State cast,
crew and pit orchestra, comprised of the top student performers, musicians and technicians from Illinois.
Kotze will appear on stage in the Ensemble, while Richard will be playing the cello in the orchestra.

"Aida" will be performed at Braden Auditorium at Illinois State University. The show runs
Jan. 9-11. This is a closed event for participants of the Illinois High School Theatre Festival, the district said. There are no public tickets available for these performances.
The Illinois High School Theatre Festival is the largest and oldest non-competitive high school theatre festival in the nation, and is produced by the Illinois Theatre Association.
