All lanes of Interstate 80 were closed by the Illinois State Police after a semi-tractor trailer crashed near Mokena on Sunday morning. Two people were taken to a hospital, according to the Illinois State Police, after a Jeep and a truck collided near mile marker 140.
Just before 1 p.m., the lanes were reopened to traffic.
The National Weather Service warns that heavy snow and blizzard conditions will make travel today treacherous. Will update as more information becomes available.
