Smoothie King Opens In Mokena Saturday

MOKENA, IL -- The Smoothie King location in Mokena that's been in the works since earlier this year will open on Saturday, Oct. 28. The business that specializes in healthy drink options will take up a storefront at 19200 S. Lagrange Road in Meridian Centre.

Brian and Kim Griffith, a husband and wife team, are the franchise owners of the Mokena location of Smoothie King, a company that was found in Louisiana in 1973.

“Mokena is a great suburban community that needs an alternative meal replacement that’s specially designed for a particular person and their needs.” Brian said in an April interview with Patch.
