Students at Noonan Elementary Academy in Mokena participated in their final charitable act of the school year by participating in the “Soles for Souls” walk-a-thon. The students, nursery through eighth grade, raised over $5,000.00 for the Student Council sponsored event to help fund Catholic missions throughout the world. Noonan Elementary Academy is not only committed to developing the full potential of each student by fostering intellectual development, but also through strong character formation and spiritual growth. The “Soles for Souls” walk-a-thon is just one example of how Noonan fosters this strong character formation and spiritual growth in its students through a fundraising effort that is a school favorite.
