Every three seconds someone needs blood and just one pint of donated blood can help save as many as three people’s lives. Nearly 500 blood donors are needed daily to make surgery and treatment possible for patients in NE Illinois and NW Indiana. Anyone in good health, age 17 or older (16 with a parents consent) and weigh at least 110 pounds may donate blood every 56 days. Call the church office to register, 708-479-5123.
