St. Mary Catholic School Students Rally Together to Support P.A.W.S.

In a display of support and compassion, students at St. Mary Catholic School organized a dress down day to raise funds for P.A.W.S. Tinley Park, which recently suffered a devastating fire at their animal shelter on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

The St. Mary Student Council, led by Mrs. Pam Bozzi, responded swiftly to the urgent need. Through their collective efforts, they successfully raised $804 to aid P.A.W.S. in their recovery efforts. Mrs. Bozzi, expressing her gratitude and pride in the students' initiative, stated, "The response from our students has been truly remarkable. In times of adversity, their willingness to come together and make a positive impact in the local community is inspiring. This fundraising effort not only demonstrates their compassion but also reflects the strong sense of community that St. Mary Catholic School fosters."

The funds raised will go towards supporting P.A.W.S. Tinley Park as they work to rebuild and provide care for the animals affected by the fire. The Student Council encourages continued support to help P.A.W.S. Tinley Park recover and continue their essential work in animal welfare.
