Summertime Stride 5K Run & Walk 6/4/16

Run, Walk, Volunteer or Donate to the Honor Flight Chicago at the 6th Annual Summertime Stride 5K Run & Walk on Saturday, June 4 at 8:30am at Willowview Park in Mokena!

The American veteran is one of our greatest treasures— the men and women who answered our nation's call, especially at times of our greatest need. At Honor Flight Chicago, their mission is to thank and pay tribute to these heroes—especially our WWII and Korean War veterans—by bringing them to Washington, D.C. for a day of honor and remembrance at no cost to them. There are an estimated 53,000 WWII and Korean War veterans living in the Chicagoland area—and we want to reach and honor each and every one. Won't you join us as we treat these humble, unassuming men and women to a most extraordinary opportunity?

The event components will include a 5K (3.1 mile) timed run and fun walk starting sharply at 8:30am with kid’s dashes, refreshments, awards ceremony/raffles to follow. 100% of the event net proceeds will benefit Honor Flight Chicago in honor of our WWII, Korean and Vietnam War veterans.
