Tinley Park 3-year-old Drowned: Coroner
The girl fell into an in-ground swimming pool in Mokena Saturday.
Preliminary autopsy results show a 3-year-old Tinley Park girl drowned after falling into an in-ground swimming pool during a family party over the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
Lamees Mohammed was found unresponsive in the pool on Saturday in the 19000 block of Lancaster in Mokena, and was later pronounced dead at 10:10 p.m., in the Silver Cross Hospital Emergency Room, according to the Will County Coroner.
Funeral arrangements are pending and being handled by Hann Funeral Home. Mokena police are investigating.
