'Tis the Season for Garage Sales! Post Yours on Patch

With spring cleaning tackled, that means it's time for the summer sales. And with all the stormy weather we've been having, it's a little unlikely that a cardboard sign on the corner will hold up. 

If you have a garage sale, we want you to announce it on Patch: we're the sign that never crumples. Give people an address they don't have to circle back around the block to get correct, and let them know what's available before they show up and leave disappointed. And here's a reminder: it's all FREE!

You've got a deal, we want to know! Here's how you can publicize your garage sale this summer: 

1. 1. Log into Patch. In the upper right corner, there should be a link that says "Log In.
2. "Once you're signed in, find the Events tab (up there, just to the right of News). Give it a little click. 
3. In the right corner of that page, you'll see something that says, "Add an Event." Put that mouse to work again.
4. Fill out all the required fields, including time, date and place. We encourage you to add a list of items for sale, as well as any photos you have. Make sure to check the "Garage Sales" category.
