Township Residents Can Vote for Township Offices Even If They Live in Municipalities
Township residents in incorporated areas can still vote for township officer.
Residents who live in incorporated townships of Will County are eligible to vote in the township races in addition to races in their villages and towns.
Residents of New Lenox Township that live in New Lenox, Mokena, Homer Glen and Joliet are able to vote for Township offices.
Township residents who do not live in these incorporated municipalities cannot vote for mayors, trustees, council members for any of the villages.
