Village Of Mokena: Sharon Dangles Named New Finance Director

The Mokena Village Board has approved the appointment of Sharon Dangles to the position of Finance Director. Ms. Dangles, a Lincoln-Way area resident with over 15 years of municipal finance experience, will fill the vacancy created when long-time Finance Director Barb Damron retires in January.

Ms. Dangles was selected for the post from a pool of 75 applicants following a thorough review of candidate qualifications and three rounds of personal interviews.

Holder of a B.A. in Accounting from Governors State University, Ms. Dangles’ professional resume includes tenures with the Village of Oak Brook and (most recently) the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District.
