The Mokena Village Board recently approved a contract in the amount of $1,439,767.60 with P.T. Ferro Construction of Joliet to complete work included within the scope of the Village’s fiscal year 2022 street maintenance program, which is expected to get underway over the next couple of weeks.

Mokena’s annual street maintenance program consists of milling, patching, longitudinal joint sealing, resurfacing, and ancillary repairs at various locations across the Mokena community. The focus of this year’s program will be the northeast section of the Grasmere subdivision, Hiawatha Street and its immediate vicinity, and 195th Street from Wolf Road to Townline Road, covering approximately 3.4 miles of streets and roadways.
