Volunteer Workdays Planned At Hickory Creek Preserve
Volunteers are sought for four dates at the Hickory Creek Preserve in Mokena.

MOKENA, IL - Four volunteer workdays are planned at the Hickory Creek Preserve in Mokena this year. The dates have been selected as one of several by the Forest Preserve District of Will County. Other sites with volunteer workdays planned include the Sugar Creek Preserve in Joliet and Whalon Lake in Naperville.
The local workdays will run from 8 a.m. to noon on these dates and sites:
- Tuesday, July 17, Hickory Creek Preserve – Hickory Creek Junction, Mokena
- Tuesday, July 24, Hickory Creek Preserve – LaPorte Road Access, Mokena
- Saturday, Sept. 15, ShareFest at Hickory Creek Preserve – Hickory Creek Junction, Mokena
- Sunday, Sept. 16, ShareFest at Hickory Creek Preserve – Hickory Creek Junction, Mokena
