We Want Your Historic Mokena Photos

One of our most dedicated readers, Jane McGinn, went above and beyond in .

She not only was the first to ID where in Mokena the photo was taken, but also e-mailed a picture of what used to be there. That's the photo of Ordman's Park and Shop included in this article.

It got me thinking about what other great historical treasures are hidden on people's laptops, cameras and photo albums.

I don't know about you, but I want to see them.

If you have great photos or videos of Mokena's rich history, send them our way and we'll run them on the site for all to see.

It could be an old photo of sepia farmsteads or it could be shots of you and your family downtown in the ancient year of 1996. If it's a view of Mokena as it was, we want to share it.
