10-Year-Old Boy Escapes Attempted Child Luring in Montgomery
Incident occurred Monday evening in unincorporated Montgomery. Boy defied driver's order to "get in the car," police say.

Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a suspicious incident where a man ordered a 10-year-old boy to get into his vehicle Monday evening.
Police were summoned to the 100 block of Saugatuck Road in unincorporated Montgomery around 6:50 p.m.
The boy said he was walking when the white male driver told him to get into his car. After man told the boy to get into his vehicle, the boy ran away. The vehicle was last seen going westbound on Saugatuck Road.

The car is described as a dark green Suburban or Tahoe, with a partial license plate of “47H” with a broken driver’s side mirror, deputies said.
The suspect is described as a male white in his late 30s to early 40s, with brown hair and brown eyes.
