MONTGOMERY, IL — A 19-year-old Montgomery man was taken into custody Thursday on multiple child pornography charges, the Kendall County Sheriff's Office said.
The sheriff's office launched an investigation that led them to Finnegan Murray after receiving a tip on Jan. 29, officials said. The teenager, of the 0-100 block of Long Beach Road, faces four counts of child pornography and two counts of child sexual abuse material.
The sheriff's office, along with the United States Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force, took Murray into custody Aug. 6 without incident.
As of Friday morning, Murray remains in custody at the Kendall County jail.
The sheriff's office encouraged the community to report any information about fugitive's whereabouts to Kendall County Crime Stoppers at 630-553-5999. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward if the information leads to the apprehension of a fugitive.
