Attempted Tip Jar Theft, Resisting Officer: Montgomery Blotter

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Oct. 18

Rolando Garza, 33, of the 800 block of 6th Avenue, Aurora, was arrested on valid warrant out of the Kane County Sheriff’s Office for driving while license revoked.

Oct. 19

Anthony Johnson, 39, of the 500 block of Glenwood Place, Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after the motorcycle he was driving struck another vehicle.

Oct. 20

Resident reported that someone entered a shed located on the property and took a rototiller.

Darrell Bell, 21, of the 300 block of Bucktail Drive, Oswego, was arrested on a valid warrant out of Kendall County Sheriff’s Office for driving while license suspended and a Dupage County Sheriff’s Office warrant for speeding.

Bernesha Means, 23, of the 500 block of Edgelawn Drive, Aurora, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police stopped her vehicle for speeding.

Officer’s responded to the 2100 block of Kathleen Circle for a report of a domestic disturbance, while on scene they were advised that the suspect, Marcus Randle, 32, of the 2100 block of Kathleen Circle, had assaulted a female resident of the address. While attempting to place Randle under arrest, Randle pushed one officer and fled on foot, while pursuing Randle on foot one officer suffered minor injuries. Following the brief foot pursuit Randle was placed under arrest. Randle was subsequently charged with assault, obstructing a peace officer, and aggravated resisting arrest.

Oct. 21

Police responded for a report of a vehicle being damaged. Once on-scene, someone caused damage to the vehicle’s windows and body.

Police responded to the 2000 block of Orchard Rd. for a property damage accident involving to passenger cars. No injuries reported and no citations issued.

Marcus Randle, 32, of the 2100 block of Kathleen Cir., Montgomery, was arrested for aggravated resisting of a peace officer, obstructing a peace officer and simple assault after police were called for a domestic dispute. Randle ran from police officers while being taken into custody for assault. He was captured a short distance away and taken into custody.

Jeffrey Schaibley, 28, of the 800 block of Victoria Dr., Montgomery, was arrested on a valid warrant out of LaSalle County Sheriff’s Department for leaving the scene of an accident.

Oct. 22

Lyndsey McCue-Crampton, 35, of the 80 block of Peck Rd., Geneva, was arrested for DUI after police stopped her vehicle for speeding.

Police responded for a minor property damage accident while near Rt. 30 and Orchard Rd. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

Collin Morrow, 20, of the 3300 block of Pecos Cir., Montgomery, was arrested for speeding 35 mph over the posted speed limit after police observed his vehicle going at a high rate of speed.

Police responded for a property damage accident while in the 2000 block of Orchard Rd. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

Jacob Rumore, 18, of the 200 Block of Willowwood Dr., Oswego, was arrested for retail theft after allegedly stealing items for sale at a business in the 2000 block of Orchard Rd.

Oct. 23

Miranda Diaz, 27, of the 1500 block of Holders Cove Road, Winchester, Tennessee, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police stopped her vehicle for speeding.

Employees at a business reported that a male suspect attempted to steal a tip jar that was located on the counter of the business. The suspect was unsuccessful as the tip jar was anchored onto the counter. The business reported no loss and the suspect was described as a male black in his twenties about 5 foot 10 inches weighing about 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball hat, red hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes.

Oct. 24

Business reported that unknown offender stole a television, incident occurred within the last month.
