Batinick Launches Online Constituent Survey

New state rep asking residents to share their thoughts on issues including taxes, pensions, budget reform

Ninety-seventh District State Rep. Mark Batinick (R-Plainfield) is asking residents to fill out an online community survey on his legislative website.

The 13-question survey asks for feedback on topics including taxes, pensions, workers compensation and state budget reform and proposed consolidation of various government offices.

Batinick said he will use constituent feedback to more effectively represent the district during the spring legislative session.

“Hearing directly from constituents on the issues that matter most to their lives and their family’s well-being is an invaluable resource for me,” Batinick said in a news release. “I hope that everyone who is interested in having their voice heard on some of the key public policy issues facing Illinois today will take a few minutes to fill out our online survey. Together we can make 2015 the year Illinois turned the corner and reconnect to our roots of being a state where people are proud to live, work and raise a family.”

Take the survey by visiting Batinick’s website and clicking the “Survey 2015” link.
