Dr. Jenna Cook of  Naperville Sportco uses two effective techniques to stretch/lengthen and remove scar tissue adhesions from the IT band area. The two most effective ways to treat ITBS are Active Release Technique and Graston techniques. A sports physical evaluation may also be needed to see what is causing the root of your IT band issues. Many times misalignment of the sacrum or instability in the pelvis can lead to ITBS. Please call our office today if you are experiencing any of these issues!
