To Steve, You Will Be Missed

I'm sure some will hear of the news of Apple Co-founder Steve Jobs' death and think nothing of it, other than to say, "I wonder what Apple will do next?"

Well, for me, I will remember the few times I got to talk with him at a developers meeting on his vision of the perfect computer world. This world was filled with easy for all, with a front end that would allow all to see the world in new ways.

His drive was to get computers to every K-12 child, in hopes they would follow that forward and buy an Apple computer for use as an adult. Today, his vision is in iPOD, iPhone, Mac, Tablet PCs and a front end that made users real users.

His electric energy was to drive everyone at Apple forward to think of new things that others would not even try. His marketing strength was the genesis that drove me to become a developer and business owner, doing things outside the box.

So next time you pickup that iPhone, iPad or just about anything related to computers, think of Steve and how he has impacted our world and will keep us moving forward. Just amazing how a few people in the tech world can make lives change so easy.
