Toys For A Cause Collection

Daisy Troop 1443 is collecting new toys for childrent being treated at Lurie Childrens Hospital in Chicago.

Earlier this year, Troop Leaders of Daisy Troop #1443 put out a challenge to their girls. They were all asked to come up with ideas that they thought would be a great way to help others. The girls then voted for their favorite ones. The top three were chosen: Take money from the cookie proceeds and feed a needy family of six with food and baskets for Easter, volunteer at 'Feed My Starving Children', and collect new toys for children being treated at Lurie Childrens Hospital in Chicago.

Now, one of the girls is working on her public service, which is the toy drive. Instead of just keeping it within the troop, she decided to reach out to the community for help fulfilling her goal.
