Car Battery Stolen, Pot Possession: Montgomery Blotter

Incidents occurred between Jan. 23 and Jan. 31.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Jan. 23

Monica Vilchis, 23, of the 700 block of Jericho Rd, Aurora, was arrested for unlawful possession of cannabis after police stopped her vehicle for speeding.

Jan. 24

Victim reported he had parked his Chevrolet Truck in the 1400 block of Bohr Ave. and when he went to start the vehicle he noticed the battery had been stolen.

Jonathan Contreras, 19, of the 1500 block of Brighton Circle, Aurora, was arrested for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor after the vehicle he was traveling in struck a light pole.

Jan. 26

Parrish Griffin-Wright, 21, of the 1200 block of Lebanon St, Montgomery, was arrested on a warrant out of the Aurora Police Department for a family offense.

Orlando Bravo, 32, of the 1100 block of Lebanon Street, Aurora, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police stopped his vehicle for an expired registration sticker. Bravo also had a warrant out of DuPage County for driving while license suspended.

Jan. 28

Diana Sandoval, 19, of the 1000 block of Talma St, Aurora, was arrested for no valid driver’s license after the vehicle she was driving was involved in a traffic accident.

Devontae Totten, 22, of the 900 block of McClaran St, Aurora, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police stopped his vehicle for speeding.

Jan. 29

Colette Styles, 24, of the 3400 block of White Eagle, Naperville, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police stopped his vehicle for no rear registration plate light.

Jan. 31

Raymond Rodriquez, 48, of the 400 block of River Street, Montgomery, was arrested for driving while license revoked after police stopped his vehicle for improper turn.
