Cocaine Possession, Retail Theft: Montgomery Blotter

Incidents occurred between Nov. 8 and Nov. 16.

Defendants are innocent until proven guilty.

Nov. 8

Reginald Dumas, 52, of the 100 block of Trask Street, Aurora, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after police stopped his vehicle for improper lane usage. While doing an inventory search of the vehicle officers located a small baggie containing a white powdery substance which tested positive for cocaine. Dumas was also given citations for no insurance and improper signal.

Nov. 9

Bailey Poczos, 21, of the 11000 block of Beacon Ave, Huntley, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police stopped her vehicle for improper lighting/one headlamp.

Nov. 10

Resident reported that someone broke two basement windows in the 2800 block of Frances Lane.

Abelardo Garcia, 32, of the 000-100 block of Westlawn Street, Aurora, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after police stopped his vehicle for speeding. Garcia was also issued a citation for disobeying a traffic control device.

Nov. 14

Jessica Harris, 33, of the 2000 block of Farmington Lakes Drive, Oswego, was arrested for retail theft after she was seen pushing out two carts full of merchandise which was not paid for.

Jacquel Owens, 30, of the 2100 Best Place, Aurora, was arrested for driving while license revoked after police stopped his vehicle for expired registration.

Nov. 15

Resident reported someone slashed 2 tires on their 1999 GMC Sierra while it was parked in front of her residence.

Nov. 16

Resident reported someone damaged their shed which was located in the back yard in the 1800 block of Mulberry Drive.
