Domestic Dispute, Vehicle Fire, Lost Purse: Montgomery Blotter
Arrests and incidents occurred between Oct. 25 and Oct. 30.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Oct. 25
It was reported that someone shattered a front window of a residence with a rock in the 1300 block of Amber Drive.

Oct. 26
A Mitsubishi Endeavor was involved in a traffic accident with a Dodge Dakota when it was reported that the Mitsubishi rear ended the Dodge Dakota. No injuries were reported.

Ivan Lugardo-Angeles of the 500 block of Heritage Drive in Oswego was arrested on two traffic warrants after his vehicle was involved in a traffic accident. Lugardo-Angeles was also cited for driving while license suspended.
Amber Rae Moberly of the 1200 block of Wilson Drive in Batavia was arrested on a failure to appear traffic warrant out of Batavia PD.
Elizabeth Chapa of the 2900 block of Heather Lane in Montgomery was arrested for suspended registration. Chapa was also cited for speeding.
Oct. 27
Ismael Patino of the 200 block of Jefferson Street in Aurora was arrested for driving while license suspended. Patino was also cited for no valid registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Oct. 28
Police responded to the area of Orchard Rd. and Aucutt Rd. for the report of a property damage accident. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.
Police responded to the area of Rt. 30 and Orchard Rd. for the report of a property damage accident. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.
Police conducted a traffic stop at Montgomery Rd. and Jackson St. The driver, identified as Veronica Martinez, 30, Aurora, was cited for driving while license suspended and speeding.
Police responded to the area of Rt. 30 and Rt. 31. for the report of a property damage accident. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.
Police responded to the area of Orchard Rd. and Aucutt Rd. for the report of a traffic accident with injuries. Once on-scene, no injuries were identified by any of the involved parties, no citations were issued and a traffic crash report was completed.
Police responded for a report of a lost purse. A customer reported losing her purse after shopping in the store. A check of the store and surrounding area for the purse by on-scene police returned with negative results.
Oct. 29
A resident of the 2100 block of Jericho Rd. reported a domestic dispute occurred with a family member. No arrest was made and both parties separated for the remainder of the day.
It was reported that a silver four door vehicle struck an occupied parked car while in a parking lot of the 800 block of Montgomery Rd. The offending vehicle then proceeded to leave the area. A licenses plate for the offending vehicle was obtained and on-scene officers have suspect information. No injuries were reported on-scene and no arrests at this time have been made.
Police responded for the report of a vehicle fire while the vehicle was parked at the intersection of Lakewood Creek Dr. and Oakmont Dr. Upon the arrival of the police, a vehicle was located that had fire coming out of the front of the vehicle. It was determined that no one remained inside and upon the arrival of the Sugar Grove Fire Department, the fire was extinguished. Contact was made with the driver of the vehicle who advised that the vehicle had started making weird noises and then began to smoke. He got out of the vehicle and observed flames.
Police responded to the 800 block of Victoria Dr. for the report of a loud party. Once on-scene, officers located the party and identified an occupant of the party as Trestan Tanzy, 33, of Crest Hill. A records check of his identification was performed and on-scene officers were notified of an active warrant for his arrest out of Will County for driving while license suspended. He was taken into custody without incident and released to the proper authority.
Oct. 30
A traffic stop was performed in the 1500 block of Douglas Rd. after a vehicle was observed with its bright lights on. The driver was identified as Baron D. McClung, 26, of Aurora. A records check of his identification was performed and on-scene officers learned that he had a revoked driver’s license. He was taken into custody without incident and issued three citations.
