A birthday party celebrating the 175th anniversary of the City of Aurora will be held at the Aurora Transportation Center.
The event will feature refreshments, music, historical characters and the Goddess Aurora.
The Aurora Historical Society is looking for Aurora's oldest citizens, pioneer families and residents who have a significant length of residence to be honored by the mayor. Nominations can be submitted online.
