Flower Power Parties of Volunteers Help Park District

Volunteers are needed to plant flower beds at Blackberry Farm, Splash Country Water Park and Phillips Park Family Aquatic Center.

The "Flower Power Planting Parties" will be held by the park district.

Volunteers will plant begonias, petunias, salvia and zinnias and receive a plant to take home. As well, park district greenhouse staff will provide expertise and garden tools. Also, free workshops will be held after the beds are planted to explain the care of annual flower gardens.
