Free 'Sunday In The Park' Live Music In Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, IL — The open park area behind Lakewood Creek Elementary School, 2301 Lakewood Creek Drive, will be the location for a fun community event called Sunday in the Park from 4 to 7:30 p.m. June 24.

Join friends and neighbors for free ice cream from 4 to 5 p.m., food to purchase from food trucks, games and activities for kids of all ages and a concert from 5 to 7:30 p.m. CK & the Gray will provide energetic and family-friendly musical entertainment. The Kendall County SWAT vehicle and a big cement truck from Ozinga will also be on display.

Plenty of parking is available at the school and in the surrounding neighborhood. The stage will be located near Prescott Drive and Jacob Avenue. Portalets and hand-washing stations will be available. Residents are invited to bring picnic blankets and lawn chairs.

This event is sponsored by the Montgomery Village Board and the Fox Valley Park District, with free ice cream provided by Engineering Enterprises, Inc.
