Kendall County Sheriff's Office Investigating Stabbing

A female victim said she was cut by an unknown person.

Kendall County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a stabbing that injured a female victim Tuesday in unincorporated Oswego.

Just before 1 p.m., deputies responded to a parking lot in the 100 block of Harbor Drive to find a victim who said she had been cut by an unknown person with an unknown object, according to the sheriff's office.

The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

In a news release, police said the stabbing "appears to be an isolated incident with no apparent threat to the community."
