Kifowit Hosting Meet and Greet with Public Officials
State Rep. Stephanie Kifowit

AURORA, Ill. – Continuing her efforts to connect area residents with valuable information, state Rep. Stephanie Kifowit, D-Oswego, is hosting a “Meet Your Local Elected Officials” event on Tuesday, March 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Hopvine Brewing Company, located at 4030 Fox Valley Center Drive in Aurora.
“In our busy lives, it can be easy to forget that there are countless numbers of public servants who are working every day to make our communities a better place to live and work in,” Kifowit said. “My goal in hosting a meet and greet is to allow individuals the opportunity to connect with their local elected officials and discuss the issues that matter most to them in a casual and fun setting. This event will also give residents the chance to find out what services local government can offer them and info about how they can become more involved in their own neighborhoods.”
Kifowit will be joined by state Sen. Linda Homes, D-Aurora, local aldermen, city officers, and county board members.
