AURORA, Ill. – State Rep. Stephanie Kifowit, D-Oswego, has invited an AARP representative and Medicare expert to give a presentation to area residents about changes to Medicare on Friday, March 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express, located at 2055 Wiesbrook Dr. in Oswego.
“Because of the confusion surrounding changes to federal law, I want area residents to have access to an expert to get all their questions answered easily and clearly,” Kifowit said. “All of us need to be informed on the options we have when we become ill or suffer an injury because small changes to the way we fund and implement Medicare can mean colossal changes to the way we attain health benefits.”
All those interested in attending this event will be able to ask their Medicare-related questions in a comfortable and non-intimidating setting. Kifowit’s Medicare Update is free and open to the public. A complementary lunch will be provided by the AARP. RSVPs are requested, as seating is limited.
