Kifowit Invites HOA Boards to Informational Session
State Rep. Stephanie Kifowit

AURORA, Ill. – Aimed at helping local home owner associations and other related boards, state Rep. Stephanie Kifowit, D-Oswego, will be hosting an HOA Informational Session on Thursday, June 18 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Aurora Public Library-Eola Branch, located at 555 S. Eola Road in Aurora.
“We have many homeowners’ associations in our area with active membership who take pride in their quality of service, so it’s important they have the tools to serve their residents,” Kifowit said. “I encourage anyone who is considering joining their local board or creating a new HOA to join us to learn valuable information.”
Kifowit will be joined by Property Manager Nancy D’Andrea and Attorney Dave Buetow who will be discussing topics related to homeowners, townhouse, and condominium associations. These presenters will highlight the 10 most common situations facing boards and how they can be addressed.

“Boards are sometimes made up of residents who don’t always have knowledge in every aspect of an HOA,” Kifowit said. “Families who attend this seminar will know what to do if they encounter any of these common problems in their own HOA, to make handling common issues as smooth as possible.”
The event is free and open to the public. For more information, or to RSVP, please contact Kifowit’s constituent’s service office at 630-585-1308, email Stephanie.Kifowit@att.net, or visit www.ILDistrict84.com.
