Kifowit Invites Residents to Attend Road Construction Update
State Rep. Stephanie Kifowit

AURORA, Ill. – To inform area motorists about projects underway to reduce congestion, state Rep. Stephanie Kifowit, D-Oswego, will be hosting a Road Construction Update with representatives from the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) on Thursday, Feb. 19 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Eola branch of the Aurora Public Library, located at 555 S. Eola Rd.
“Infrastructure improvements are vital to shortening commute times and keeping our area economically competitive,” Kifowit said. “I encourage everyone to attend this meeting to learn how we are working to alleviate congestion. This forum also provides a great opportunity for local residents to weigh in with their own priorities for future projects.”
Kifowit will be joined by a representative from the Illinois Department of Transportation and representatives from local counties and municipalities who will be discussing current and upcoming infrastructure projects in the area. Attendees will also have the opportunity to provide feedback on how to improve transportation.
