LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago and Easter Seals DuPage & Fox Valley Unveil New Family Room in Villa Park

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Chicago and Easter Seals DuPage & Fox Valley unveiled a newly renovated Villa Park Center family room on March 20. The newly designed room gives families a creative space to play with their children and help grow their imagination.

“We love having the opportunity to work with Easter Seals DuPage & Fox Valley because of how well our two organizations fit together,” said Nick Miller, general manager of LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago. “We know that by providing this space, children of all ages are going to have the opportunity to play and learn with LEGO bricks, and that’s a rewarding thought for us.”

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago and Easter Seals DuPage & Fox Valley have partnered in the past for events such as nights of LEGO fun for special needs children.

“We are grateful for our continued partnership with LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago and now Merlin’s Magic Wand,” said Theresa Forthofer, Easter Seals DuPage & Fox Valley president and CEO. “This donation will allow children of all abilities to have a magical space to play together while receiving the services they need in order to gain maximum independence.”

The renovation was made possible through Merlin’s Magic Wand, a charity run by Merlin Entertainments Group. LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago is a part of the Merlin Entertainments Group.
