Man Pulls Out Knife During Montgomery Bar Fight

MONTGOMERY, IL — A 29-year-old Aurora man allegedly pulled a knife on someone during a Montgomery bar fight.

Juan Perez, 29, of the 400 block 4th St. in Aurora, was arrested for aggravated battery and armed violence after he was involved in a fight at a bar in the 200 block of Montgomery Rd.

Police say that he brandished a knife after striking a subject inside. All involved parties were medically treated on-scene.

Juan fled the scene in a vehicle which was later stopped by Montgomery police officers. He was subsequently charged with driving under the influence, as well.
