Married Couple Found Stabbed to Death in Montgomery Home

MONTGOMERY, IL — A married couple was found stabbed to death in their Montgomery home Friday night.

At around 9:29 p.m. Friday, Montgomery police officers were sent to the 2000 block of Kate Ct. for a possible death investigation.

At the scene, officers found a 48-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Montgomery police said the couple lived in the home and were married. Police are still investigating and the circumstances are being determined.

The Kendall County Coroner was contacted and arrived on the scene and removed the bodies. Names of the deceased will be released later after next of kin have been notified.

The Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services processed the scene.
