Masked Armed Robbers Invade Montgomery Home: Police

MONTGOMERY, IL — Two masked people invaded a home Friday and demanded specific items from the residents.

According to the Montgomery Police Department, an area resident reported that while visiting relatives at a home in the 0-100 block of E. Mill St, two people entered the residence by force and brandished unknown make/model firearms. The masked people demanded specific items from the home, according to police, and then left on foot once they had them.

The armed robbers were then observed getting into a white pick-up truck and leaving the area. Police searched the area but were unable to find them.

The robbery appears to be an isolated incident, police said. Anyone with information should contact Det. Vila at 630-897-8707.
