Local teachers serve students and families on McTeacher's Night to raise money for school activities.

Sugar Grove| McDole Elementary School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to support local education and school activities.

Teachers from Kaneland Community Unit School District 302 volunteered behind the counter on Tuesday, January 8th, at the Sugar Grove McDonald’s located on Route 47, where they served students and their families in a fundraiser for McDole Elementary School.

Debbie Vistine and Bridget Hagspihl tended the apple pie box during the night, while Pamela Hart and Jennifer Crocker sold pies alongside them throughout the night. The proceeds from their sale of 240 pies went directly to benefit the students. Fifteen percent of the proceeds from the McTeacher’s Night sales were donated directly to the McDole PTO.
