Montgomery Blotter: Possession of a Controlled Substance, Apples Thrown at Vehicle

Incidents occurred between Nov. 2 and Nov. 10.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty.

Nov. 2

Nicole Luna, 27, of the 600 block of Jungles Avenue, Aurora, was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance after police stopped her vehicle for disobeying a traffic control device. Luna was also issued citations for driving while license suspended and disobeying a traffic control device.

Resident reported someone threw apples at his vehicle causing damage to his rear passenger door while he was traveling on Gordon Road.

Christopher Matthews, 31, of the 000-100 block of Field Point Drive, Montgomery, was arrested for no valid driver’s license after police stopped his vehicle for disobeying a traffic control signal.

Gus Bester, 29, of the 1000 block of Watson Street, Aurora, was arrested on a warrant out of Kane County SO for unlawful possession of cannabis after police stopped his vehicle.

Nov. 4

Derrick McCullum, 34, of the 2000 block of Sunrise Circle, Aurora, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after police stopped his vehicle for speeding. McCullum was also issued citations for improper lane usage and disobeying a traffic control device.

Nov. 5

Lino Ferrer, 28, of the 100 block of Dolores Street, Oswego, was arrested for operating a vehicle when registration is suspended for non-insurance after police stopped his vehicle for a traffic violation.

Nov. 6

Wayne Turner, 36, of the 1100 block of Pearl Street, Aurora, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police stopped his vehicle for failure to dim headlights.

Antwan Hicks, 44, of the 3100 block of Teal Bay Court, Aurora, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police stopped his vehicle for speeding.

Nov. 8

Danny Cruz, 44, of the 1700 block of Greene Court, Aurora, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after police stopped his vehicle for failure to signal when required. Cruz was also issued a citation for operating a vehicle with expired registration.

Nov. 10

Michael Brugh, 38, of the 2000 block of Rebecca Circle, Montgomery, was arrested on a warrant out of DuPage County SO for driving while license suspended.
