Montgomery to Hold Presentation on Winston Churchill
The event is free and open to all ages.

MONTGOMERY, IL — The Village of Montgomery will host a free program called “Sir Winston Churchill: The Greatest Statesman of the Twentieth Century” at the Montgomery Village Hall, 200 N. River Street at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
Daniel Myers, a popular speaker who served as Executive Director of The Churchill Centre from 2003-2008, will provide a multi-media presentation that includes photos and audio excerpts of Churchill’s speech, according to a news release from the village.
“It is an amazing overview of Churchill and his many published exploits that will illuminate, entertain and possibly amuse the audience,” the village said.

The event is free and open to all ages.
The monthly Senior Lunch and activity for 55+ will begin at 11:00 a.m. after the presentation. There is a $4 cost for the lunch and pre-registration by September 6th is required.
