Montgomery to Host Recycling Event
Residents will be able to dispose of electronics and other recyclables that are not collected curbside.

The Village of Montgomery hosts monthly recycling collection events at 10 Civic Center Avenue in front of the Montgomery Police Department from 9:00 a.m. until noon on the third Saturday of each month.
The recycling events help residents dispose of electronics and other recyclables that are not currently collected curbside. However, due to an overwhelming amount of tube TVs that have been dropped off, the recycler has temporarily stopped accepting old tube TVs, including projection and console TVs, until further notice.

During the monthly events, you can bring electronics (anything electrical that plugs in, except tube TVs), all types of batteries, metal, and toner cartridges to the recycling event location to help keep these items out of landfills. In addition, paper shredding will be offered at the October 17th event.
Please note that these recycling events will not accept paint, fluorescent light bulbs, car fluids or tires.
